I’m super excited to share with you that I’m officially a Financial Social Work Coach!

Thanks to the amazing work being done at the Center for Financial Social Work, many financial counselors and coaches like myself are being equipped with trauma-informed, client forward, and behavioral improvement tools to serve our communities more deeply.

I am even more equipped to center you and your experience with money.

This practice employs a holistic approach to financial health and uses the lens of mental health to understand what underlies certain financial behaviors. In other words, this practice explores what may be behind the uneven cash flow, the annoying spending habits, the fears and anxieties that hold us back from achieving our goals.

There’s a wealth of literature on the how-to’s and foundations of money management, so one can theoretically learn on their own about the fundamentals of personal finance.

But self-awareness of things like financial habits, behaviors, triggers, and even traumas is an essential part of sound personal finance as well.

Grateful to Reeta Wolfsohn at the Center for Financial Social Work for designing this program and bringing the humanness to the financial counseling industry. Thanks to the program, I feel more equipped to support you in the way you need to be supported. I will always center you and your experience with money to work with you through your financial roadblocks!
