In other words, this practice explores what may be *behind* the uneven cash flow, the annoying spending habits, the fears and anxieties that hold us back from achieving our goals. There’s a wealth of literature on the how-to’s and foundations of money management, so one can theoretically learn on their own about the fundamentals of personal finance. **But self-awareness of things like financial habits, behaviors, triggers, and even traumas is an essential part of sound personal finance as well. ** Grateful to Reeta Wolfsohn at the Center for Financial Social Work for designing this program and bringing the humanness to the financial counseling industry. Thanks to the program, I feel more equipped to support you in the way you need to be supported.
